What if I don’t want to pay monthly?You can sign up for term as normal via bank transfer. This is an extra cost of 50p per session due to administration charges.

What happens when it rains?In the event of rain, the coach will let parents know with at least 30mins notice. A make up session will be put on or the option of an equivalent session on another day will be offered

Do I need to be a member of Bannatyne to access RBTennis?No, RBTennis is a separate entity with no membership.

What are Red/Orange/Green/Yellow ball?Different ball colours depict the age group and what colour ball each child plays with. Red U8 (quarter size court) Orange u9 (half size court) Green/Yellow (full court) Each ball has slightly less air pressure, meaning a bounce that’s related to the size of the child. The is universally recognised and the court size matches the bounce of the ball.

When does my child start competing?Ultimately this is up to the parent. A child can compete at any time in LTA tournaments. Any help with this can be provided via the coaching team. We have teams running throughout winter and summer to give people the opportunity to compete against other clubs.

Do we play indoors over the winter?Indoor facilities are expensive and hard to access. In order to keep our prices affordable for as many people as possible and stay accessible, we play all year round under floodlights at Bannatyne.

Are beginners allowed?We have specialist groups for beginners both for juniors and adults.

Do we run holiday camps?Yes but we run them as holiday training sessions with numbers capped at 12 per session.

What ratio of players to coaches do we offer?All sessions have a maximum of 6:1 ratio.

What discounts can I access?We offer the following discounts; 5% sibling discount 10% multiple session discount

What do I get if I refer a friend?We offer £10 credit or cash payment for every friend you recommend who signs up to a course.

What if I need to cancel a group or private lesson?If you don’t attend a group and don’t give adequate notice (24hrs) you may be charged for the group without option for make up sessions. For private lessons regardless of circumstances you will be charged full amount if you do not cancel within 48hrs notice.

How is the direct debit calculated?We run the sessions on a 36 week term. The calculation is: (Cost of Session x Number of Weeks) Divided by 12 Months.

What if I want to cancel?Cancellations must be given one month notice. For instance, if you request to cancel in May you will still need to pay for the current month (May) and the following month (June), after which your standing order can be cancelled. If you cancel early you will be charged.

What if I am still owed sessions when I cancel?You can continue to come to sessions until any outstanding credit is made up. Refunds won’t be offered unless it’s a unique circumstance.
